Confused by WordPress Category

I have problem when i have to create some custom solution. What i need to accomplish is some simple feature where every time user delete a category from administrator panel, then every posts (and all its meta field) and child category also get delete.

Right now in wordpress, (i believe its 2.9.2 version), every time a category get deleted then its ID get erase. But its child category and its post will not. The child and the post only got their terms and depth level changes. So how to accomplish this ?

I have try to hook something like ‘delete_category’ (subset of ‘delete_$taxonomy’), and ‘delete_term’. But what i have just the id of the category which has enter the death zone (which mean you can have it as return value but not as param to retrieve its previous child category and posts ).

Hmm am i go to the wrong direction ? sure, administrator panel is not a place where all good come good. But, i try to find it rather then create some custom category panel. hmm i think i will go to find some help. I have create one in wordpress support
